Hackathons2026
HackUDC, HackUPC
  • Won the Alén Space Challenge and 2nd Best Open Source Project at HackUDC 2026 (400+ participants) with BFG-I. Selected from 1,700+ applicants to participate in HackUPC 2026 with XEITECH. Both projects were developed under 36-hour constraints.
  • HackUDC (BFG-I): Built a satellite-to-ground DOOM streaming system over simulated LEO links in C, using H.264 video compression, RTP/UDP packetization, and a lock-free ring buffer.
  • HackUPC (XEITECH): Developed an automated warehouse simulator with a heuristics-driven I/O algorithm, SSTF instruction reordering, and a 3D digital twin using C++, Python, and React.
Open Source Governance Skill2026
  • A skill in the Agent Skills format for Claude Code and OpenCode that sets up the complete open source governance of a project, generating the license, the REUSE metadata and the contributing, security and CI artifacts that follow FSF and OSI best practices.
  • It was born as a utility to release a hackathon project, but it works for any kind of project.
Automated Referee Assignments2026
  • Engineered an optimization engine in Python to efficiently schedule up to 800 weekly matches, combining personnel scheduling and vehicle routing problems.
  • Resolved complex constraints including schedule overlaps, conflict vetoes, and skill-level matching through weighted greedy selection, complemented by local search and geometric approximations.
Smart Water Management2025 – present
egswater.com
  • Developing an AI/IoT platform (NestJS, R, React) with two Bankinter Akademia colleagues for small Galician municipalities, aiming to optimize natural resources and reduce Non-Revenue Water leaks.
  • The solution, an anomaly detection algorithm based on an unsupervised ensemble, is currently being prototyped ahead of planned municipal pilot tests.
Student Magazine2023 – 2025
Más Mates (USC)
  • Editor and contributor for a monthly Math Faculty magazine at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
  • Collaborated closely to publish high-quality technical and outreach content, expanding my skillset by exploring topics beyond the standard curriculum.
  • Published in Minerva.
